Charley’s Boat House Grill & Wine Bar

Charley’s opened January 31st 1974 as Charley Brown’s and was renamed Charley’s Boathouse Grill on May 1st 2002. Yes, we were converted from an authentic boathouse into an “Old Florida” canal side restaurant.

Charley’s was born out of the desire to offer Fort Myers Beach an exquisite steakhouse that featured an extensive salad bar. In later years, a variety of fresh fish and seafood were added to create the diverse menu that we offer still to this day.

To the locals we are known for our always-fresh seafood and premium cuts of beef. We are passionate about creating the perfect dining experience by serving our guests excellent food and providing exceptional service. That’s why we have been the premiere spot for steak and seafood for over 40 years on Fort Myers Beach.

What has set us apart for years and years is that we have a commitment to the highest standards. Charley’s uses only the freshest ingredients so that you get to enjoy the best in quality and ﬂavor. All of our Beef is aged on premise and hand cut on-site each day. Our Chef’s won’t serve ﬁsh that isn’t fresh. In fact we won’t even offer it until we can ﬁnd the right quality and price for our customers.
